Easy Oatmeal Soap
Print this Recipe

Not a Mix in a Jar - But makes a great gift

Use your small scraps of soap for this recipe!

For each half cup of soap scraps add one cup of water. Place an old pan on the stove on medium heat. Place soap mixture in pan and allow it to dissolve. When the mixture is fully melted, stir in enough fine oatmeal to form a stiff batter.

When the batter becomes very stiff, grease an old dish or mold and pour the mixture in. Before it gets hard and dry cut it into cakes and you have an excellent soap for keeping the hands soft.

A few drops of essential oil may be added with the oatmeal if desired.

*When giving as a gift, tie each square with raffia or ribbon.
